I've thought a lot about how much has changed since the last collection of music I released in September. Immersed in immense loss, sadness, and depression, the gift of the music that I was given at that time to help me cross the bridge from grief to healing was priceless. After releasing 'Farewell To A Friend', I didn't know when I would be motivated to create and share new music. I was completely spent emotionally and physically. Fortunately, the new year seemed to bring new inspiration. As it usually happens, I began recording without any intention of formally putting together a new 'album'. What I noticed was that my new tunes were unexpectedly and pleasantly 'upbeat'... optimistic... with a feeling of momentum. I had fears that the old sense of melancholy would creep in - but I was wrong. Even the introspective pieces here have a sense of resolution - of sturdiness. What I am thankful for is that I have music to share that makes me feel like there's a spring in my step again... and I can say for sure there is. Thanks for walking with me.
